5-week winter Splashball! A perfect way to introduce kids aged 7-10 to the water, make new friends, and learn a bit of water polo!
Designed as a fun and easy-to-learn program, Splashball bridges the gap between swim lessons and other aquatic sports.
Splashball focuses on the fun, dynamic side of water sports in a safe, beginner-friendly setting.
It’s a great way to help kids make friends, learn new water skills, stay active, and fall in love with the water—all while having a blast!

Register Your Athlete for the Cache Water Polo Spring 2025 Season!
Welcome to the official registration page for Cache Water Polo’s spring 2025 season! We’re thrilled to have your family join our water polo community and excited for another fun and competitive season. Below, you’ll find all the information you need to get started. Please read carefully to ensure your athlete is fully registered and ready to play!
Age Group Categories
Players are grouped by their age as of May 1, 2025. Please review the categories below to determine your athlete’s age group:
- 10U (10 and under): Born on or after May 2, 2014
- 12U (11–12): Born May 2, 2012 – May 1, 2014
- 14U (13–14): Born May 2, 2010 – May 1, 2012
- 16U (15–16): Born May 2, 2008 – May 1, 2010
- 18U (17–18): Players must still be enrolled in high school and born May 2, 2006 – May 1, 2008
Note: Players may have the opportunity to “play up” to a higher age group based on their skills and the needs of teams. These decisions will be made after registration, and you’ll be notified if applicable.
Age Eligibility Example:
- If your child is 14 on May 1, 2025, they’re eligible for the 14U division.
- If they turn 15 on or before May 1, 2025, they will move to the 16U division.
Most leagues and tournaments in Utah, including those under USA Water Polo guidelines, follow this same May 1 age rule.
How to Register
Completing the registration process is easy! Just follow these steps:
- Fill out the online registration form (link provided below).
- Submit your registration fee through the secure payment portal.
Please note that your athlete will not be allowed to attend practices or games until both steps are completed.
Key Deadlines
- Registration Opens: January 14, 2025
- Registration Closes: January 31, 2025, at midnight
Refund Policy: Full refunds for registration fees are available if requested before the registration deadline.

NOTE: Those that participate in selling oranges Jan-March typically have a large portion of their dues paid for. Some are able to cover their dues completely through selling oranges–so don’t let money deter you!
TEAMS: Player birthday cutoff is June 1. For example, if your 12 year old will turn 13 after June 1st, s/he will play on the U12 team.
